Before joining Dominican in fall of 1993, Ms. Stellhorn graduated with a Masters degree in counseling, and worked in a clinical setting with people of all ages. The challenges and rewards of working with young adults became a great interest, which has led to more than 14 years at Dominican.

Teaching Licenses in Alternative Education and Reading

Mrs. Burns began her career serving hearing-impaired students in Milwaukee Public Schools, and later served as Principal at St. Veronica Elementary school before taking time to raise her family. Since resuming her career in education, she has taught courses in exceptional education and teacher preparation at UW-Madison and at University of Minnesota-Morris. She is a member of of the Wisconsin State Reading Association (WSRA) and the International Reading Association (IRA). Mrs. Burns is also a professed member of the Order Discalced of Carmelites, Holy Hill, Hubertus, WI.

 

Mrs. Rachel Garry, ext. 140

Registrar

Mrs. Garry is now in her fourth year at Dominican and entering into her first full year as registrar.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Mark Nagle, ext. 141

Guidance Counselor

B.A. - English, St. John's University, Collegeville, MN
M.S. - Educational Psychology, UW-Milwaukee
Licensed K-12 School Counselor

While at UWM, Mr. Nagle worked on the men's basketball staff. It was here where he found great joy working with young people. Prior to finding his way to Dominican in 2007, he worked at the Boys and Girls Club on the south side of Milwaukee and at Holy Family Parish School in Whitefish Bay. In addition to his role as guidance counselor, Mr. Nagle is Dominican’s head varsity assistant boys basketball coach, JV boys baseball coach and student council moderator.
