At a time when most Catholic schools are without the daily services and pastoral presence of a priest, DHS retains the services of our own exclusive Catholic priest/chaplain -- Fr. Bob Wheelock -- who celebrates mass, counsels students, offers reconciliation services and ministers daily to students.

Fr. Bob Joined OFM Capuchins in 1957 and was ordained in 1964. He taught at St. Lawrence Seminary High School and St. Louis Graduate School. He was also involved in medical education from 1965-1978. His duties include retreat director, pastor, and spiritual mentor. He also is the Founder of Franciscan Peacemakers, a street ministry in Milwaukee.
