This section of the Dominican website is dedicated to providing information from various groups, organizations and committees that work to support or enhance the Dominican community. Over time you may find reports from various volunteer committees, updates from student groups, or announcements regarding upcoming meetings and events. Parents Association

We need your help to make the upcoming year a memorable and rewarding one for your Dominican
student(s).  All parents and guardians of Dominican students are members of the Parents Association, which provides leadership and hands-on help for recruitment and fund-raising activities, social events, enrichment and outreach programs. You are invited to get involved – we are a small school and we need YOUR help! Please review this volunteer form and choose opportunities you would like to be a part of this coming year. You will find plenty of opportunities listed on this form, and if you don’t know enough to decide now, just check the“I’m interested but want to know more” box.

Athletic Booster Club (ABC)

Catholic Education Is a Team Sport!  Our meetings are open to all boosters and your attendance is appreciated.

Fine Arts Booster Club (FAB)

FAB is a parent group comprised of DHS parents interested in the Fine Arts.  FAB provides volunteer support for Fine Arts activities and events.  FAB performs focused fundraising for proposals/needs submitted by Fine Arts faculty and staff.  FAB provides financial support for Fine Arts activities to supplement the school budget.

Goals for 2009-2010

* To implement an online ticketing system

* To reestablish a Dinner Theater experience either for the Fall Plays or the Spring Musical

* To improve/assist with publicity for Fine Arts events especially with Grade Schools

* To provide DVDs of performances in a timely cost effective manner.
