Extra-Curricular Eligibility Code
Student eligibility for participation in extra-curricular events is determined eight times yearly. This code applies to all extra/co-curricular activities including: athletics, field trips, performing arts, student government, foreign travel programs and other positions or honors. The academic criteria for eligibility are listed below.
Eligible - This status grants a student full privilege to participate in all events. Students must have maintained a 2.0 GPA for the previous quarter/semester.
Eligible with review - This status grants a student privilege to particpate in all events until the next review date. Students must have maintained a 1.67 GPA for the previous quarter/semester.
Probation - This status grants students privilege to practice (not play or perform) with the consent of the coach/director of the event. Student must have maintained a 1.33 GPA for the previous quarter/semester.
Ineligible - This status grants students no privileges to practice or play until the next review date. This applies to students whose previous quarter/semester GPA was lower than 1.32.
