TOWN HALL MEETING
Please join Mr. Foy and Ms. Brady for a town hall meeting on May 22nd at 7:00pm in the board room. They will be discussing the new athletic conference for next year, our new partnership with the Wisconsin International Academy (WIA) among other topics, and answering any questions or concerns you may have.

BACCALAUREATE MASS
The Baccalaureate Mass will be held on Thursday, May 24th at 6:30pm in the auditorium. Seniors should report to the board room by 6:00pm in their graduation gowns (no caps). A brief reception, prepared by the Parents Association, will follow Mass in the cafeteria.

GRADUATION
The 2012 commencement ceremony will begin at 6:30pm on Friday, May 25th in the auditorium. All graduates must report to the board at 5:45pm in their caps and gowns. St. Monica’s has generously offered their parking lot for use by Dominican families and guests during commencement. The ceremony will conclude by 8:00pm.

SOFTBALL ALUMNI GAME
All Dominican alumni and families of Dominican softball alumnae are invited to join us on Saturday, June 2nd for our 5th annual alumni softball game. The game begins at 5:30pm on our home field at St. Monica’s School. We invite you to stop by DHS a little earlier and check out the new softball locker room, socialize and warm up. The game will be 100% slow pitch softball with a “flight restricted” ball and no expectation of fast pitch hitting, pitching, or sliding skills. All you need to bring is a glove! DHS CHOIR SINGING AT BREWERS V. CUBS GAME

ACT TEST AT DOMINICAN
Are you signing your child up for the ACT in June? Go to www.act.org, and when you sign up your child, make sure to pick Dominican High School as the place to take it!
Why would it be better to take it here? Taking the ACT at the school you attend can relieve a lot of anxiety because your child doesn’t have to worry about things like: parking, where restrooms are located, who the proctors are, where the rooms are located, etc. Because your child is familiar with the surroundings, they will most likely be less nervous throughout the test.
