Technology is an integral part of the learning experience at Dominican. Studies have shown that having laptops integrated into the learning experience has a significant positive impact on student test scores in English/language arts, writing, math, and science. As a part of the 1:1 laptop program, each student is given a Lenovo laptop their freshman year to use for their four years at Dominican. The laptops are pre-loaded with programs and features that will enhance their experience with classroom projects.

Nearly every course at Dominican utilizes technology in some form. Through four years at Dominican, students will become comfortable using technology in an educational environment and will have working skills of several useful programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Indesign, Microsoft Excel and powerpoint and much more.
