Two Students Named 2022 National Merit Finalists

Congratulations to seniors Josie Balistreri and Paul Firsan for being named National Merit Scholarship Finalists!

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation honors academic excellence by awarding scholarships to the nation’s top students each year. Balistreri and Firsan are two of 15,000 finalists, placing them in the top 1% of more than one and a half million students nationwide.

Finalists will have the opportunity to compete for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships. Winners are chosen based on academic records, SAT scores, extracurricular and leadership experiences, and essays.
